Fairmont Orchid, Waikoloa

The hotel gives a cozy and quiet vibe, perfect for a good night's sleep. The rooms, while on the small side, offer a comfortable bed. However, some maintenance issues could be addressed considering the price range. The service truly focuses on guest satisfaction, making for a warm and welcoming experience. The location offers great accessibility to various attractions, despite some limitations. The dining options are varied and satisfying. Overall, Fairmont Orchid provides a relaxing escape but with small room-related improvements to be made.

I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The garden view suite was large, spacious, and brightened up beautifully as soon as the sun rose. All our shower items were provided, adding a nice touch to our 2 rooms. The service was exceptional, from the restaurants to the pool and beach staff, even encounters with the restaurant manager in the hall. The location was absolutely stunning, offering great opportunities for snorkeling and plenty of space for sunbathing. The onsite dining was a mixed experience, with one late evening room service order being underwhelming, although the outside patio restaurant was delightful. Overall, a beautiful property with some small areas for improvement.

My stay at the Kohala Tower was excellent overall. The rooms were equipped and comfortable, with beautiful ocean views from the balconies, despite the extra charge. The service was warm and welcoming, making every aspect of my stay enjoyable. The location offered both crowded and serene spots, with easy access to beach and pool amenities. Dining options were varied, although some improvements could be made to enhance the experience.

The hotel offers spacious rooms equipped to a very high standard. There was a slight delay in room readiness until 4 pm, in line with their guaranteed check-in time. Although advertised as ocean view, you had to lean out on the balcony to catch a glimpse of the ocean. The room itself was fairly large with a lovely, well-appointed bathroom.
